We are adopting a baby from Guatemala. This process started in February. We began by doing the process to be approved by our adoption agency as well as the US Govt. Misty always dreamed of being a mom before she turned 30....and guess what Her 30th b-day was on July 25 and we found out about our beautiful baby girl on July 21! Isn't God so good! Anyway we were really expecting a baby boy...but surpise we have a girl. Her name is Moriah Joy Ellis.

We created this site so that all of those we love can see our precious Moriah Joy Estefania! We began our adoption process in February 2006. After US Govt approval we recieved a suprise that we would adopt a baby girl since, from what the adoption agency said we were most likely going to have a boy. Moriah was born on July 6, 2006, and is now living with a foster family in Guatemala City while the legal process is taking place. It typically takes 5-7 months for this process to be complete. We are praying that she will be home before Christmas....especially since this may be the last Christmas we are home for a while since we are planning to leave for SE Asia in Fall 2007!
