About Me
- Name: Ellis Family
- Location: United States
We created this site so that all of those we love can see our precious Moriah Joy Estefania! We began our adoption process in February 2006. After US Govt approval we recieved a suprise that we would adopt a baby girl since, from what the adoption agency said we were most likely going to have a boy. Moriah was born on July 6, 2006, and is now living with a foster family in Guatemala City while the legal process is taking place. It typically takes 5-7 months for this process to be complete. We are praying that she will be home before Christmas....especially since this may be the last Christmas we are home for a while since we are planning to leave for SE Asia in Fall 2007! Moriah means "Chosen by God" Also, check out our other website @ www.ellisgang.wordpress.com

How my heart is filled with so much joy for you. My prayers are always with you and will be as you serve our Great God and those wonderful people.
MJ has grown into a beauty, of course we knew she would.
Pecae, Joy, and all my love. Diane
Your daughter is so cute! I found your blog by googling "I-864 to bring home our adopted baby" as we are completing our post-referral paperwork for our Ethiopian baby.
Anyway, normally I wouldn't comment but I wanted to tell you that our 6 year old daughter is named Ruth Moriah and I haven't seen any other Moriahs (Mariah-yes, but Moriah-no) Most people (aka in-laws :) )think we're nuts when we say that Moriah was her chosen middle name because we wanted to be willing, like Abraham, to obey God with our children, no matter what the call.
I'm glad things went well with your adoption.
