This is our first family picture with Moriah on 7-23-06.

Thank you to everyone for your support in this time...we are in the process of getting our power of attorney paperwork completed so that we can send it to Guatemala so that our attorney down there can act on our behalf. We appreciate your continued prayers. We would especially like to ask you to pray for Victor Barrios. He is the one in the Guatemalan court that moves the papers through. He is new on the job. We pray that he and his staff can move Moriah's papers through quickly!!

Moriah means "Chosen By God"
Origin - Hebrew
Moriah is one of the hills of Jerusalem where the Temple was built by Solomon. This was alos the spot where Abraham was asked by God to sacrifice his son Isaac.

We are so blessed already that God has given us Moriah even before we have been able to hold her. We pray that we may offer her back to our Awesome Father every day!

We are adopting a baby from Guatemala. This process started in February. We began by doing the process to be approved by our adoption agency as well as the US Govt. Misty always dreamed of being a mom before she turned 30....and guess what Her 30th b-day was on July 25 and we found out about our beautiful baby girl on July 21! Isn't God so good! Anyway we were really expecting a baby boy...but surpise we have a girl. Her name is Moriah Joy Ellis.
